Mejlis and Muslims in the Wikileaks

Tuesday, September 06, 2011

Confidential and secret documents released by the wikileaks, give a rare insight on some of the behind scene activities.

Here you find a wikileaks document which shows a discussion with Elias Redman-former Federal Mejlis vice chairperson. It covers various issues, which includes the demolition of 4 kilo mosque and the subsequent unrest, and how Redman was resisting public pressure.

The documents are posted and discussed on various websites, and Ethio Leaks has a collection of some the relevant secret and confidential documents. EEJ may also try to read and share some of the cables in the future.
