Don't let this Magazine Down

Sunday, August 28, 2011

The news of banning Ya Muslimoch Guday Magize is quite disturbing. North African countries, Morocco in particular is widely accused by its grip on the media, despite its assertion of the press freedom. One of its tactics, is to bring label cases with every major and minor issues , and make critical media occupied with court cases then their job.

Blocking the magazine at final stage, after investing time and money on it, would give Ya Muslimoch Guday Magazine hard time to make the edition sustainable even if road is cleared. As such, all the stake holders should stand by this magazine and assure them they are beside them spiritually and materially. Not necessary because you agree with the content of the magazine, but because these people are struggling on behalf of you so that tomorrow you will have the freedom to express your opinion which may be even rival to that of this magazine, without a concern of being silenced.
